High-Performance Hyperspectral Imaging for Demanding Airborne Missions

The Specim AisaFENIX is a high-performance airborne hyperspectral imager that captures seamless spectral data from the visible to the short-wave infrared (380-2500 nm).

Engineered for demanding remote sensing applications, AisaFENIX delivers unmatched spectral fidelity, exceptional radiometric accuracy, and wide-area coverage in a single, integrated solution. It is the ideal instrument for customers who need comprehensive spectral information across the full optical range without compromising image quality, workflow efficiency, or platform compatibility.

Key Features:

  • Complete spectral range from 380 to 2500 nm
  • Up to 620 spectral bands
  • Readily co-registered data with single fore optic
  • All spectral bands spatially co-registered, independent of target distance
  • Maximized sensitivity and SNR

AisaFENIX Models: 384 px and 1K (1024 px) Spatial Resolution

The Specim AisaFENIX is available in two models:

The AisaFENIX 384 offers a compact, lightweight solution with a 384-pixel spatial swath, providing high-quality hyperspectral data while keeping payload size and power consumption to a minimum. This model is well-suited for medium to heavy lift UAVs and smaller aircraft where weight, power, and cost efficiency are critical.

For applications requiring maximum spatial detail and broader coverage, the AisaFENIX 1K delivers a full 1024-pixel spatial resolution, enabling finer ground sampling distances, improved mapping accuracy, and wider area capture per flight line. This higher-resolution model takes productivity of hyperspectral imaging to a new level, reducing flight costs by 60% due to fewer flight lines, or collecting data with higher accuracy when flying at the same height.

Both systems provide the same exceptional spectral performance, collecting quality airborne data across the full VNIR-SWIR range, delivering the optimal balance between performance and efficiency.

Specim AisaFENIX Key Benefits:

  • Contiguous VNIR-SWIR spectral range from 380-2500 nm
  • Readily co-registered data with single common fore optic
  • Supports interfacing with most popular GNSS/IMU systems
  • Significant reduction of flight time with high spatial resolution model
