About Us

Chris Vogt is the Director of Sales and Engineering at Channel Systems. He has been a key member of the team since 2009, bringing with him a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise across optics, imaging, and integrated systems. 

As a computer engineering graduate and registered P.Eng. in Manitoba, Chris combines deep experience in electronic, mechanical, software, and optical design with strong systems-integration skills to deliver exceptional engineering insights and technical support to customers. Known for his practical, solutions-focused approach, he bridges complex technology with real-world applications, supporting high-value product development and customer success. 

Outside of work, Chris enjoys collecting and restoring vintage computers, volunteering at his church, and spending time with his family.

Kate Kaminski is the Director of Administration and Marketing at Channel Systems. Kate oversees the company’s administrative, finance, and HR functions while leading the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives. She also contributes to technical sales and supports nuclear safeguards activities, bringing a well-rounded operational and customer-focused perspective to the organization. 

With over a decade of experience in administration, marketing, customer service, and technical sales, Kate offers a unique blend of creativity, analytical insight, and leadership. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree and a Certificate in Digital and Social Media Marketing, she plays a key role in strengthening Channel Systems’ brand presence, enhancing customer relationships, and advancing the company’s mission to deliver impactful imaging solutions. 

Outside of work, Kate volunteers on several community boards and committees, including Pinawa Minor Hockey and the Pinawa Foundation, and enjoys exploring various forms of visual art and innovation.

Jill Loutit is the Administration and Operations Manager at Channel Systems. Jill joined the team in 2017 with more than 15 years of experience in administration across logistics, finance, marketing, and human resources. She oversees the company’s internal operations, ensuring that processes, resources, and teams align effectively to support organizational goals. 

Jill manages key administrative functions, coordinates logistics, and implements systems that enhance productivity, communication, and customer satisfaction. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Winnipeg, she is a dedicated lifelong learner who brings strong operations management and organizational planning expertise to the role. 

Jill plays a vital part in maintaining the structure and stability that enable Channel Systems to innovate and grow, supporting smooth day-to-day operations and long-term business success. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and photography.

Paul Greber is a Systems Integrator and Software Developer at Channel Systems. Paul designs and implements custom software solutions that enable advanced imaging technologies to perform seamlessly and reliably. He works closely with the engineering and sales teams to integrate hardware and software systems, ensuring intuitive operation and high performance across diverse industries and applications. 

With a strong background in programming, system architecture, and data processing, Paul develops tools and workflows that help customers capture, analyze, and interpret complex data, supporting Channel Systems’ mission to deliver complete, innovative imaging solutions. 

Driven to solve technical challenges and continually refine system performance, he brings a forward-thinking approach to software innovation. Outside of work, Paul is passionate about fostering rescue dogs and is actively involved with local dog rescue organizations.

Laurel Vogt is an Administrative Assistant at Channel Systems. Laurel provides essential support to the company’s operations, helping ensure that day-to-day activities run smoothly and efficiently. From coordinating communications to assisting with logistics, she plays a key role in maintaining the organization and momentum behind Channel Systems’ projects and initiatives. 

Laurel brings a diverse background spanning education, hospitality, government, entrepreneurship, pharmaceuticals, and administration, allowing her to contribute meaningfully across many areas of the company. She values being part of a collaborative team that embraces creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

Outside of work, Laurel is actively involved in volunteering with children’s programs at church and in school activities, and she enjoys spending time outdoors and on the water with her family.

Eric Busch is a Technical Sales Representative at Channel Systems. Eric joined the team in 2024 and provides customers with in-depth product knowledge, helping them navigate technical requirements and identify the best imaging solutions for their applications. 

With experience as a self-employed drone service provider specializing in multispectral and RGB mapping for agricultural research, as well as his background as a field agronomist, Eric brings a strong blend of practical field insight and technical expertise. He is a Professional Agrologist with a Bachelor of Science in Agroecology and holds both a private pilot’s license and a Canadian Advanced Drone Certificate. 

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time in nature, whether sailing, cross-country skiing, or exploring the outdoors, and is active in his community as a cross-country ski coach, a member of the local school board, and a chamber of commerce board member.

Carol Sandul is a part-time Bookkeeper at Channel Systems. Carol joined the Channel Systems team in 2013 and brings over 35 years of experience in financial administration. She supports the company’s financial operations by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly and annual reconciliations, and payroll. 

Carol holds a Business Administration Diploma from Red River College, a Computer Accounting Diploma and a Business Procedures Diploma from Success Angus Business College, and a certificate from the Federal Business Development Bank. Her extensive expertise and attention to detail contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of Channel Systems’ financial processes. 

Outside of work, Carol enjoys reading, skiing, curling, kayaking, and hiking.
