The Specim RS10 Rotary Stage Scanner is a versatile, tripod-mountable rotary scanner that enables push-broom hyperspectral cameras to capture full images of stationary targets, whether flat surfaces, artifacts, or outdoor scenes.
Instead of moving the target or repositioning the camera, RS10 rotates the camera across the width of the scene, making it ideal for challenging indoor and outdoor hyperspectral use cases. LUMO Scanner software offers the user full control of the scanner and camera, including adjusting camera speed and angle.
The hyperspectral camera attaches to the rotary stage with an adapter equipped with a special bayonet enabling quick installation and release. The scanner can be attached to a standard tripod with a 3/8" screw.
Designed for easy setup and compatible with a maximum of 10 kg payload, the RS10 is compatible with Specim's light-to-medium weight push-broom hyperspectral cameras including the FX10, FX17 and SX25. For heavier cameras or setups requiring larger payload, Specim offers the RS50 Rotary Stage, rated up to 50 kg.
